Mexico�s Best Beaches Showdown - Playa del Carmen - PlayacarI personally would not waste any time in Cancun either; it's a cheesy Vegas on the beach. There are good bars and restaurants and nice beaches. In Playa, I think the beaches to the north of Coco Beach are the nicest. Make sure you check out Punta Esmeralda, where a cenote opens up to. The best beaches are on Cozumel. Take the Ferry to Cozumel and find a beach. We went to Paradise Beach and it was one of the best beaches I've ever been to.
